Dieco Electronics B.V. is the holding company of a group of innovative technology companies specializing in advanced electronic design. The group consists of Bruco Integrated Circuits, a fabless IC design center that provides custom ASICs (Application-Specific Integrated Circuits), and Dizain-Sync, an independent consultancy organization in Electronic Design Automation (EDA). Together, Dieco Electronics offers B2B solutions and turnkey projects from early system specification to qualified silicon. The companies serve critical sectors such as Communications, Defense, Automotive, Industrial Automation, and Medical Technology, with the mission to accelerate the technological advancement of their partners.

Bruco Integrated Circuits is a fabless IC design center. We provide design services and turnkey solutions from early system specification to qualified silicon. Within our RF test laboratory we validate and characterize state of the art RF devices.

Dizain-Sync is an independent consultancy organisation in electronic design and development, with more than 25 years experience. We offer a unique perspective on the combination of PLM, EDA, Design Training and support services.
About us
Dieco Electronics B.V., was founded in 2009, with Bruco Integrated Circuits, Bruco Components and Dizain-Sync as daughter companies. Today, the companies together have a headcount of about 50 people, located in Borne and Nijmegen, the Netherlands and Berlin, Germany.
Bruco was started in 1988 on New Year's Day. Since then it has evolved from a small privately held automotive design house into today's innovative solutions provider for electronic product development.
In the year 2008, Dizain-Sync, an independent consultancy organisation in electronic design & development, focussing on PLM, EDA, Design and Training services, was brought into the company to increase the portfolio of services for our customers.
In 2009 it was decided to put our logistic activities around the delivery of ICs into a new sister company called Bruco Components.

CEO
Erik Wilbrink
Erik Wilbrink joined as CEO of Dieco Electronics on December 1st, 2024. In this role he will lead the operations at Bruco and Dizain-Sync and drive the strategy for the coming years. He previously served as CCO at Micronit, a global contract developer and manufacturer of microfluidic products. With over 30 years experience in the high-tech industry, Erik has led significant growth and innovation across multiple industries and applications. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Information Technology from the University of Twente.


Owner and Non-Executive Director
harry diepenmaat
Harry Diepenmaat (1957) has been the Managing Director of our company from 2001 until 2014. He was one of the driving forces in IC development and power management systems for Philips oscilloscopes and Fluke ScopeMeter products. Prior to being one of the seed investors in GreenPeak, he was co-founder and business angel for JIS Nederland. In 2006 he became member of the Board of Directors at GreenPeak. Harry is co-founder and Board member of the Business Cluster Semiconductors East Netherlands. Since May 2014 Harry has become Supervisory Director of Dieco Electronics.

theo Muijs
In 2017 Theo Muijs was appointed as Non Executive Director for Dieco Electronics. Theo has extensive experience in the networking industry. After getting his degree in electrical engineering at Delft University of Technology in 1990, he worked for Lucent Technologies. At this company he held senior management positions in hardware development for access systems and next generation optical networking systems. At Lucent he was responsible for the development of high speed optical interfaces, ASICs and circuit boards. In 2003, he co-founded AimValley. AimValley helps companies to get a grip on their networking technologies by providing state of the art technological solutions for telecommunications and data communication systems providers. Their products and services solve any technical challenge in networking.
